Miosotis are plants with small but very showy flowers, usually sky blue with a yellow or white throat, used as ornamentals. When they wither they take on reddish tones because the pigments they contain change color when the pH inside the cells changes.

Les miosotis son plantes amb flors petites però molt vistoses, normalment de color blau cel amb la gorja groga o blanca, emprades com a ornamentals. Quan es marceixen prenen tons vermellosos per que els pigments que contenen varien de color en canviar el pH del interior de les cèl·lules.
