According to many ancient historians, the curved spurs in the shape of a hook that originate at the base of the petals of this flower, imitate the beak and nails of the eagles that give this plant its name: Aquilegia.
D’acord a molts antics historiadors, els esperons corbats en forma de ganxo que s’originen a la base dels pètals d’aquesta flor, imiten el pic i les ungles de les àligues que li donen nom a aquesta planta: Aquilegia.
